We've had several HVAC systems installed by Lamb for rental and personal houses. I like their work. Looks neat, well done, and they clean up their mess. They use good quality materials and are fast to service if there's an issue. I don't do price checks on service work, but on new installation they're very competitive. I'd recommend them every time. We’ve used Lamb’s before and always been satisfied and pleased with their service. Recently our furnace was not keeping up due to running short bursts and turning off, repeatedly. The repair guy determined that the problem was the heat exchanger causing it to get too hot and then turning off until it cooled. Repeating this process over and over was not providing enough heat to keep the house warm. The cost of the repair to the over 15 years old unit was over half of the cost to replace with a new furnace so the choice was obvious. A few days later the new Bryant furnace was installed. The three guys that did the replacement were very professional, friendly and completed the job in around 4 hours or so. During the installation they also rewired the whole house humidifier to make it more effective. Price was less than I expected and the new unit was much better than the old. A few days later on a Sunday morning I noticed the new unit was keeping up but seemed to be cutting off and on more than normal. I called and talked to the on-call rep and we discussed a couple of things to try but he insisted on coming out the next day to check it out and make any adjustments needed. So he and another rep showed up as scheduled, made some timing adjustments, and then added an extra return air vent in the basement just as an added precaution to prevent any other potential problems that might occur in the future. They were there a couple of hours and there was no charge. So overall, we could not be more pleased. Everyone that has ever been to house has been friendly and easy to get along with, and professional. Even the office staff and call center folks are great. Unfortunately I forgot the guys names, getting old I guess, but everyone was great and never minded me watching and asking questions. I awoke to chilly house at 63 degrees. Switched on the emergency heat (I have a heat pump), and nothing happened. I called Lambs before they opened and left my name and number. The temp got down to about 59 degrees when they called to let me know that they squeezed me in and someone would be on their way soon. The lady in the office was so nice!! Conner was the most professional and friendly service person I have ever encountered and he was very nice to explain the mechanical workings of the heat pump and why it wasn't working after diagnosing the problem. He went for parts, came back and installed them and I immediately could feel the difference once warm air was coming through the vents again. The labor cost was less than expected too! I had an appointment with Lamb's on 12/4 for an issue with my heat pump not properly heating my house; it was struggling to keep up with the cold weather and making some concerning noises. My experience over the phone was great, the ladies I spoke to to make the appointment were very nice and helpful. Technicians Conner and Gage showed up in a timely manner and were very friendly, personable, and courteous; they patiently listened to me as I explained the issues I had been experiencing. They were very knowledgeable and they thoroughly explained their process for diagnosing the problem. Thankfully, the solution was simply flipping a switch that was turned off on the indoor unit. It was an embarrassingly simple fix, but they were very kind about it and gave me some tips on how to manage my heat pump since I have never owned one before now. Lamb’s has provided great service. After waiting for a part that had a shipping problem (not on Lamb’s), Justin called and apologized. He rush ordered a new part and came to do the install himself today. They wanted to get it done before the holidays for us and waived a fee. They have always been responsive and professional every time we work with them. I would highly recommend them to others. Read Less
